You could turn to an international shipping company for more reliable and flexible service. DHL, Fedex/Kinko’s, TNT, and UPS all have offices. English service is patchy at best. Deliveries within Beijing or China are best done through EMS (run by China Post, see table), or through a private courier. STO Express, Chenghangdi Express, and Zhaijisong Express all offer similar services, called kuaidi in Chinese. Prices depend on distance and size, and a letter or small parcel sent within Beijing may cost as little as ¥10 for same day delivery.
