Chuo-ku is located east of Chiyoda and is bordered by Minato to the south-west. The Sumida River flows through the east of the ward, giving this very urban and active ward two distinctive atmospheres. The main areas of Chuo-ku are Ginza and Nihombashi, just to the east of Tokyo station, and to the east of that the riverside district. This area is not quite as popular as others because of the prices, but it can be a beautiful place if you’re looking for very urban or exclusive riverside living.
