Transport

Chûô-ku is mostly serviced by the metro, with Ginza being the converging point for the Ginza, Maruonouchi, Hibiya, Tozai and Ôedo lines. These lines can be a bit packed during the working week, especially during the morning and evening rush hours. Local bus services are available at all major stations, running to points north and south.

The Shuto Expressway loops into Chûô-ku near Shiodome, and there can be a lot of traffic between Ginza and Nihonbashi. Nihonbashi and the surrounding areas are very congested during the week, however some area turns into virtual ghost towns on the weekends. As there is no street parking in Tokyo, a space will either be provided by your building or you will have to rent it.
