The Nakano and Higashi-Nakano station areas are filled with shopping opportunities. There are some major supermarkets like Peacock and Seiyu, in addition to smaller greengrocers and butchers. Near Nakano station is Sun Mall, a packed shopping arcade, and Sun Plaza with shops and restaurants. Ochiai, Nakano-Shinbashi, and Nakano-Sakaue are a bit more limited for shopping, but there are smaller neighbourhood shops and groceries.
