Shinjuku has several cinemas and hundreds of bars and cafes. There are a few large karaoke boxes, and the Kabuki-cho entertainment district is often packed. Opera City is a favourite for performances and exhibitions. Nearby you can also access the northern reaches of Yoyogi Kôen and Shinjuku Gyôen, a small oasis of peace in the bustle of Shinjuku. If you want more, Shibuya, Harajuku and Roppongi are just a few stops away.
