Entertainment & Leisure

You will never be bored in this area. Not with the mass of restaurants, bars, theatres, cinemas and buildings by master architects such as Gaudí. Plaça de Catalunya often hosts concerts and other events, while Passeig de Gràcia and Rambla Catalunya attract many people on Sant Jordi, Catalonia’s national day. In January, Sant Antoni has a big day-long fiesta called Els Tres Tombs (the three turns). In general, Eixample’s bars, clubs and restaurants are a little fancier than their equivalents down in Ciutat Vella and up in Gràcia.
