Spending is not a problem in this neighbourhood. It is home to most of the 5km long ‘shopping line’ that runs from La Rambla and up Diagonal. It is estimated that there are 35,000 shops along this mighty strip.

There are designer labels on Passeig de Gràcia, other well-known names on Rambla de Catalunya, a 24 hour flower market on Valencia, and the modernista Sant Antoni market, which sells food and clothes during the week, and books, music and collectables on Sunday mornings.
