In the centre of the Eixample Esquerra is Hospital Clínic, a large public teaching hospital. Emergency facilities are available at the Hospital Clínic, Sagrat Cor (private) and Dos de Maig (private). There are another eight private facilities in the neighbourhood, including the Barcelona Children’s Hospital. Eixample has six CAP primary care centres.
