Acupuncture
There is a large Chinese population in Dublin, and traditional Chinese medicine (often called T.C.M.) is now highly visible and easily accessible. The Traditional Chinese Medicine Council of Ireland can provide a list of insured, registered practitioners who are approved by health insurance providers. Many GPs in Ireland are now qualified to administer acupuncture. However, GPs do not usually undergo as intensive or lengthy training as most acupuncturists, and may not always be the best option.
