Medical Cards
Medical Cards are are available to individuals and families on low incomes, and anyone over 70 years of age, irrespective of their financial status. They entitle holders to free healthcare and medication. You can apply for one through your local Health Services Executive (www.hse.ie). Approximately 38% of the population has one.
