Few clinics have on-staff dieticians, and the field of nutrition isn’t common in China. Typically, larger gyms or health spas that cater to western clients will have a nutritionist on staff, and both International SOS Clinic and United Family Hospital can offer diet-related services.

Traditional Chinese medicine is heavily integrated into diet, and any TCM clinic will be able to offer advice on foods to eat or avoid. Fees can be as low as ¥100 at a TCM clinic, much cheaper than a western nutritionist or dietary specialist.
