Physiotherapy
There has been great improvement to physical therapy thanks to the 2008 Olympics. Chinese hospitals used to recommend avoiding movement and motion, or use electric currents to stimulate muscles. But with awareness growing around the games, every major hospital can offer basic physical therapy. Even if you’re not an athlete, physical therapy can be required for a number of joint and muscle-related problems. As this is still a growing field, prices can vary widely, but expect to pay over ¥600 for a session.
